Shipping Update Addendum

I've got more detailed information on the shipping schedule, so I wanted to post an addendum to yesterday's update
After pressing the factory for a firm shipping schedule, I finally got a firm commitment, which is more pessimistic than they originally forcast, but here it is:
The factory says "It is taking longer than we originally were told, but these new dates are pretty firm, so it shouldn’t change any beyond this."
Shipping June 20 – 4 containers
Shipping July 5 – 5 containers
Shipping July 20 – 4 containers
Shipping transit generally takes 5-6 weeks, which means that the first backers might have their games shipped before Gen Con if we are lucky, and will have them shipped after Gen Con if we are not.
As we have stated before, we'll ship out to backers in backer number order to the extent possible given the contents of the containers. We'll keep you updated with any additional shipping information as soon as we get it.

Detailed Production & Shipping Update

Greetings Kickstarter Backers!
Now that we are on to the purely post-production logistics of this Kickstarter, I wanted to step in and give you all a detailed update.
The good news is that the production of OblivAeon and all of the other items from the Kickstarter is complete! We have received a single copy of each item in our warehouse, which Christopher and Maggie ran through in a livestream a few weeks ago. The bad news is that it took the factory significantly longer than they estimated to complete production; they were not done with all of the items until approximately ten days ago.
They are now in the process of packing up all of the items and shipping them out via ocean freight. Here, there is some more good news. The three cargo containers headed for Europe left China several days ago, and are estimated to arrive at Spiral Galaxy Games, our UK-based fulfillment house, some time the second week of July. Spiral Galaxy Games will fulfill all games in destinations other than the US, Canada, or Australia.
The factory is now working on packing up the thirteen (13) additional containers needed to fulfill US, Canadian, and Australian orders. Although they previously told us that all of these would ship by the end of May, that was obviously not true. At this point, they tell me that they will all ship by the end of June, which sounds reasonable to me given that they shipped three containers to the UK in about a week. However, at this point, I believe it is wise for all of us to take any estimates from the factory with a grain of salt.
What does this mean for delivery and fulfillment? Well, Spiral Galaxy is currently estimating a three week turnaround for all of their games, which means that the orders shipping from Spiral Galaxy should all be in transit by the end of July. The factory currently tells me that they will ship some of the US-bound containers in about a week. I have instructed them to send us all of the orders that do *not* contain collector’s cases first, as those will be faster to turn around in the warehouse. If they actually send those in about a week, they should be on their way to US/Canada/Australia backers by the end of July as well, with the rest of the case-based rewards being sent out in August.
Now, you will notice that all of these shipping times are full of “shoulds”. As you are probably aware, this game has taken somewhat longer than we initially predicted. A bunch of that delay is on us, as we did not realize how much the increased scope of the project would increase development time. We’ve now learned that the factory *also* did not understand the massive scope of the project, and vastly underestimated their production timeline several times. It is now possible that we will run into further delays with the shipping portion of the project. The most likely source of these is either a) the amount of time it takes us and/or Spiral Galaxy to turn around the shipments, and/or b) the containers could be delayed by up to several weeks in transit. We most recently ran into exactly this problem with a reprint of Spirit Island, which was delayed by three weeks after arriving in Los Angeles.

OblivAeon and all other content for this Kickstarter is done printing.
Games for countries other than the US, Canada, and Australia are on their way to Spiral Galaxy in the UK, with an estimated arrival of mid-July.
Games for the US, Canada, and Australia will reportedly ship to our US warehouse “throughout June”.
We currently anticipate that Spiral Galaxy will be done with fulfillment around the end of July, and that we will be done with fulfillment at the end of August, but those could be subject to unpredictable transit delays.
Since Kickstarter fulfillment will not be complete before Gen Con, we will not be selling any OblivAeon related items at Gen Con.
Thanks for bearing with us on all of this! This project has taking much, much longer than any of us hoped for or anticipated, but the result is awesome, and the end is in sight!

Hi everyone! We are posting this emergency update, because in our hurry to get this month's update to you we put out an inaccurate timeline out!
The cargo containers will leave China before the end of May, and will arrive at our warehouse sometime in June.
We sincerely apologise for the confusion!

Hey folks! Welcome to your 56th update on this lovely May day! I’d like to kick this off by explaining the small delay we experienced while crafting this update. I was in a car accident Monday night, and while I am totally fine my car was totally not fine. I greatly appreciate all of the well wishes I have received!
Now for the real update! The factory also let us know that we will be receiving the production copy of OblivAeon in about a week, which means more live streams! YAYYYYY!

Sentinels of Freedom
Sentinels of Freedom is a digital turn-based strategy game inspired by the Sentinel Comics RPG that is in its last 58 hours of backing!
Where in the Sentinels universe does this game take place? Just like in the Sentinel Comics RPG, Sentinels of Freedom takes place in the Sentinel Comics Universe, after OblivAeon, and will allow you to create your own heroes, assemble a team, and save the world again!

Hello, fellow humans! We have quite a bit of information about the shipping of OblivAeon, some upcoming live streams of character decks, and our presence at PAX East to share with you today so let’s dive in!
Shipping
This morning we received word from that they will begin sending the cargo containers of OblivAeon in May. That means we won't get them until June, as they take a month to traverse the ocean. This is an annoying, but not terrible delay.
Why is this not terrible? Because we have an awesome, super cool, really good plan! We will have two containers of OblivAeon being unloaded at all times! Our three docks will be completely full, two with containers of OblivAeon and the third with an empty container waiting for the labelled OblivAeon packages!
Here is where the majestic cargo containers full of OblivAeon will sit and be emptied!
Everyone’s OblivAeon game will be unloaded from the container, checked to ensure it is in pristine condition, then repackaged with the correct label, and immediately placed into the empty cargo container.
You might be be thinking to yourselves, “Woah, Maggie how are they going to do it that fast? That seems like it’ll take forever!” Worry not my friends! We have some super awesome machines that help us go extra fast!
These rolls unfold to be superrr long and we can roll packages of OblivAeon out of the cargo containers extra fast on them!
This is our taping machine! We slip packages in and it spits them out all taped up and ready to go!
In conclusion, everything is going to be fine, even though the printing and shipping is taking forever! We want OblivAeon in your hands as soon as possible, too - we're all in this together!
